I pwnz0r subjects
We've stripped the wallpaper out of my bathroom, painted the walls and the sink cabinets. Put up all new doodads (toilet paper holder thingy, cabinet handles, etc...). We recarpeted my room and painted in there, too. Still working on all the trim, but it looks really really good. Also, my sinuses aren't near as bad in there now. Next weekend (actually weekend after next since Katja is on a business trip this coming weekend) We finish up the trim and tile the bathroom. Maaaaybe get started on the kitchen. Wow, everything looks great. It's actually kinda fun. Not like computer games fun, but more rewarding, in any case. So yah, that's what I've been up to. Everyone, meet Katja
Most of you who see me very often know that I've been MIA as of late. Even though I've always been a little wary of posting personal stuff here, I had a wild hair and wanted to share this with y'all. I've been driving down to Birmingham at least 3 times a week to see an amazing girl for a little over 3 weeks now. Her name is Katja, we met on yahoo personals, and I'm completely floored. Hooked. Done-For. I've been ambushed I tell you. Bamboozled. Bushwacked. Anwyay, you get the idea. :-P I could go on and on, but I won't. Those of you care to hear further details will let me know, I have no doubt, heh. I will say that it's astonishing how ugly she makes me look when we pose together for pictures. =P Ah well. I'll post it anyway. As long as she doesn't mind how un-photogenic I am, what do I care? Something personal, since I don't do that sort of thing very often: I am probably happier than I have ever been. Part of me is worried that by admitting that I will be calling down bad karma on myself, but there it is. Oh, totally unrelated, vonchewie's leaving for the whole week to go down to Tuscaloosa and help them open a store ther. I have the house all to myself all week. Wooooot!
